Here's a little bit about me...

Hi! My name is Callie Brown. I am an LMT, Licensed Massage Therapist and Attuned Reiki Practitioner (almost a Master!) My work is insured by ABMP.

I graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute in June of 2017 and have been practicing massage ever since. I have been studying and practicing Reiki energy healing since 2014 and have experienced great positive change in my health and life because of it.

As of April 2021, I have recieved my 2nd and 3rd Reiki Master attunements and am finishing up coursework to recieve my Reiki Master Diploma. 

Since graduating and practicing with friends/ family, varying jobs and my own business, I have found that I thrive in providing relaxing, muscle tension melting reflexology based massage therapy. I let my knowledge, experience and intuition guide the work along with listening with my head, heart and hands to my clients body.  I continue to study every service that I offer as much as I can and take this work very seriously (while still enjoying!), arriving to each session in best health/spirits and, of course, with only the best of intentions and the goal to meet each client's individual needs.  I practice traditional Usui Reiki as of right now and meditate daily to connect with the Reiki energy. 

 

BONSAI BODYWORKS PHILOSOPHY: 

The Japanese art of "Bonsai" inspired the name of my business.  It is an art form in which trees of all kinds are grown in small, shallow pots. The Bonsai artist works with these trees for years sometimes, slowly bending and training the branches into beautiful designs, carefully peeling bark away to create a unique living texture, trimming branches today to create a unique look or story 25 years later as the tree grows. It's very much about patience, steady care and love of the craft- which is the way that I see positive results happen through the practice of bodywork/massage therapy, reflexology massage and energy healing. 

Outside of this practice, I enjoy being a Mom to my 2 young daughters, creating art and spending as much time out in nature as I can with good people. I enjoy an organic, healthy, holistic and active lifestyle. I love to learn and am very passionate about living life in the best way possible.
